A.P. Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems of Siberian Department of Russian Academy of Science organizes workshop "Science Intensive Applied Software" within the framework of "Seventh International Andrei Ershov Memorial Conference "PERSPECTIVES OF SYSTEM INFORMATICS"". The conference will be held in Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. Theses of paper from our company were accepted for this seminar.

After attending the conference "High-performance computing on personal supercomputer TESLA from NVIDIA, CUDA architecture", that took place in Novosibirsk State University, our team became interested in GPU programming. Besides, we have possibilities for this purpose now: in the company there were three new computers with powerful graphic adapters based on NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT which will be used for the projects connected with high-performance computing on graphic processors.

Bioinformatics is the key competence of our company.

Bioinformatics implies solving the complicated tacks on modeling live systems, new knowledge mining and development of the program complexes filled with intellectual algorithms.

Company basis is the team of specialists – graduates of mathematical, physical, biological faculties of NSU, faculty of an information technology. Our team successfully solves tasks in bioinformatics since 2003.

By the present moment it has been accumulated experience in solving various applied and theoretical tasks in bioinformatics using both own and the borrowed algorithms in the field of signal processing and signal search, tools for knowledge mining, modeling of physical and chemical characteristics of molecules and organisms, solutions for systems of the differential equations.
